This Summer... several church and youth groups have come to the St Vrain ReStore and helped with painting, weeding, and cleaning. Below, some of the folk that helped to dismantle the Twin Peaks Mall movie theater (scissor lift) from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, near Chicago, and part of the youth group from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Des Moines, IA, helped to rehab the drainage area behind the ReStore. All groups... THANK YOU, YOU HAVE BEEN A HUGE HELP, to the ReStore and our Habitat for Humanity families.
While not the most well-known holiday, the first week of August is "National Simplify Your Life" week - dedicated to slowing down, getting organized and de-cluttering for a more stress-free lifestyle.
On August 1, take a step toward simplifying your life by sorting through your closets, drawers and shelves. Bring those items to the HFH ReStore... or leave those used and unwanted items in a Recycle That collection box and benefit a Habitat for Humanity and the environment.

WMT is a sewing and empowerment initiative for refugees in the Metro Denver Area. We specialize in up-cycle and handmade products made from donated and imported fabrics. We are from various countries like Burma, Bhutan, Nepal, Eritrea, Somalia, Togo, Congo…etc. Colorado is now our home.
WMT participants are empowered to become able, productive and contributing community members. Many possess skills, creativity and a desire to become seamstresses, artisans, sewing assistants and retail employees. Our initiative is open Monday‑Friday in Denver, CO. We sell our product lines in various stores and crafting markets. To learn more about WMT, please click here for a detailed overview of the program and ways that you can get involved.
Proceeds support our initiative and the participants of We Made This, as well as Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley
